Collection: Mexica

Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the Mexica civilization, also known as the Aztec civilization, our jewelry collection pays homage to the craftsmanship and symbolism of this ancient society. Flourishing in central Mexico from the 14th to the 16th centuries, the Mexica people left an indelible mark on history with their capital city of Tenochtitlan (present-day Mexico City). Renowned for their architectural marvels, intricate temples, and pyramids, the Mexica were also celebrated artists, revered for their mastery of pottery and sculpture.

At the heart of our collection lies a tribute to the highly skilled pottery artisans of the Mexica civilization. Employing techniques such as coiling, molding, and painting, these artisans created a diverse array of pottery items, each adorned with vibrant colors and intricate designs that reflected Mexica cultural motifs, mythological themes, and religious symbolism. Just as their pottery contributed to the spiritual and ceremonial aspects of Mexica society, our jewelry pieces aim to capture a part of this ancient culture, infusing each design with the spirit of Mexica craftsmanship and tradition.
