From the hands that weave memory, stories and legends are born—reviving ancestral heritage and carrying us into the timeless world of Aborigena.
Aborigena is a contemporary-ethnic accessory brand that blends design with the rich history of Latin American Pre-Columbian cultures.
Beyond design and fashion
Aborigena pursues a greater mission: honoring artisanship as a path for growth and cultural preservation. It embodies a commitment to conscious creation, fair partnerships, and sustainability. Each piece tells a story—bridging past and present, and inviting people to connect with their roots while fostering meaningful change.
The story behind.
Aborigena was born from the vision of Laura González, a multidisciplinary designer passionate about Latin America’s cultural heritage. From the very beginning, she sought to merge contemporary design with artisanal tradition, creating accessories that honor the richness and diversity of pre-Columbian cultures.
With the arrival of Melissa Baeza, a psychologist passionate about design, and deeply committed to artisanal work and community empowerment, the brand took on a new dimension: social impact.
Through our work, we strive to generate a positive impact by supporting artisans, promoting sustainable practices, and contributing a percentage of every sale to programs that protect the environment and support the preservation of indigenous cultures.
