Collection: Chibcha

This collection is inspired by the Chibcha culture, also known as the Muisca culture, an indigenous civilization that thrived in the highlands of the Colombian Andes.

Renowned for their unparalleled craftsmanship, the Chibcha excelled in the art of working with gold and pottery. Employing intricate goldsmithing techniques, they crafted exquisite ornaments, jewelry, and ceremonial artifacts. Their pottery, adorned with geometric designs and animal motifs, spoke to the aesthetic sophistication of the Chibcha artisans.

The Chibcha worshipped a diverse pantheon of deities intricately linked to natural elements, including the sun, moon, and water. A hallmark of their spiritual practices was the ritualistic use of gold in offerings to these revered deities, adding a profound dimension to their religious ceremonies.

This collection pays tribute to the artistry and spirituality of the Chibcha culture in a contemporary interpretation.
